Spring and Summer Trends: Braiding

Braids are being seen everywhere—different types of braids and placement.  It is all about being creative.

You can always be safe with a traditional braid with a ponytail or even a French braid straight back, but being creative is the fun part.  Here are a couple of examples:

  1. You can braid the bang area or even on the sides and connect in the back.  You can brain one side and bobby pin it on the side
  2. You can opt in for a twist or fish-tale braid rather than a traditional one
  3. You can add mini plaits through a wavy do or crisscross braids throughout your hair
  4. Another fun way is to braid small sections of your hair straight back and then gather your ends and tie in a ponytail.

You can never go wrong with a braid—have fun and experiment!
